I am new to FOREX. How can I start trading with FOREX RobinVOL?

Does FOREX RobinVOL works with NFA/FIFO rules?

Yes. Just set the fifo option to true.

What will happen when FOREX RobinVOL reaches the Worst Case scenario?

The worst case scenario is a line that every customer has to draw for himself. We have published our guidelines to calculate it.

Given the serious robustness measures in FOREX RobinVOL, we don’t expect that default settings are going to reach the worst case scenario soon. But it will come eventually for sure.

We are working hard in implementing “Walk Forward” features to FOREX RobinVOL (we already published preliminary test on that on DonnaForex forum).

Walk Forward will make the concept of worst case scenario obsolete:

When market erases the inefficience that this EA exploits, the EA will trade very few or will simply not trade, as it will not find good enough settings to trade
When the market becomes inefficient again on this strategy, the EA will start to find good settings to trade

Can I restart Metatrader while I have open trades?

Yes. You can restart Metatrader or even the machine where Metatrader is running. When you restart Metatrader again FOREX RobinVOL will continue managing any open trades it had.

How much capital do I need to trade FOREX RobinVOL?

As a general rule, you need enough so that when trading through the inevitable drawdown periods, you still will be able to place trades above the minimum trade size for your broker.

More simply, for our prefered broker, an account of $1000 is enough to trade FOREX RobinVOL on default settings.

What happens if Metatrader loses the connection to the server?

If Metatrader loses the connection to the trading server due to network problems or server failure, FOREX RobinVOL will not be able to manage your trades.

To improve your security you should activate the useBracketSLTP option so that there is always a server side Stop Loss and Take Profit. This setting would not affect the profitability.

How can I change the machine where FOREX RobinVOL is installed?

Please, contact support to initiate the process.

Please, note that FOREX RobinVOL will stop working on your first machine and only work on the new one.

On which brokers does FOREX RobinVOL work?

FOREX RobinVOL is not broker dependent. Any broker with decent execution time (2 seconds or less) and decent spreads (2 or less) will work.

Can I use FOREX RobinVOL on a Spread Betting account?

Yes you can. But due to the way the risk is calculated on FOREX RobinVOL 1.6, it could be a bit misleading, as the risk configuration value would not correspond to the real risk taken.

So to use a Spread Betting account with RobinVOL 1.6, I suggest to set the trade size by hand (using the FixedLots option) or to make a backtest first and set the risk setting according to the result.

How many accounts can FOREX RobinVOL manage with one license?

Each purchased license of FOREX RobinVOL can only be installed in one single machine. It can manage an unlimited number of demo or real accounts.

Can I distribute FOREX RobinVOL signals?

No. Distributing FOREX RobinVOL signals is forbidden and will invalidate your license and refund rights.
